Happy Thoughts

If you are a person who loves to color, coloring in this image was so therapeutic.  Currently I have family and friends who have had to evacuate their homes in CA, due to wildfires.  I have been addicted to updates online and on television.  So to sit down, and just color was so good for my soul.  Plus, who doesn't love to color in a flower, it is just happiness. The images was stamped onto white cardstock, using black ink.  Make sure you use an ink that is compatible with whatever your coloring medium is.  Then I colored in the image with copic markers.  I added a few enamel dots for added interest and embellishments, and adhered the panel with foam squares for depth.   This set is called Sunny Flowers from Technique Tuesday .  Its a 3 x 4 inch stamp set, with this large image, a lady bug, a few sentiments and a coordinating die set.  To see the full reveal head on over to the Technique Tuesday blog ! One of the best feelings as a cardmaker is when you can create a card based on what is in your head.  It always doesn't work out, but its exciting when it does!  This stamp set called Rub a dub dub, has a lot of open images, so if you love to color, this is the stamp set for you! Now, can we talk about that background for a minute? It is called Quilted Backdrop, and I am in love! Love I tell ya!  It is so soft and elegant, I have a million cards I want to make with it! Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see more projects using these products and a chance to win them as well!! Details The images were stamped in black ink, then colored in with copic markers before die cut out.  The little yellow drops are Nuvo drops which add the perfect touch.

One of my children's love languages is food.  They appreciate all kinds of deliciousness.  My husband have lots of errands to get done today, but a quick trip to Krispy Kreme, and a quick DIY topper, my kids have a little note and sweet surprise when they enter the kitchen. I mean who doesn't love donuts?  Right?  I really don't care how fattening, sugary, or carb loaded they are.  I am all about moderation, and my life is happier with donuts in it. I am using the super fun Donuts and Sprinkles stamp set from Laina Lamb Designs, found at My Favorite Things Stamps , as well as the Die-Namics LLD Donuts dies .  Like how perfect are th...
