Hello Sweet Stuff

Image
Hello friends!  It is safe to say its summer, and everyone has the temperatures to prove it. I hope everyone is staying cool if you are able to. Taylored Expressions has a small Mini Slim release today. The mini slim line is wildly popular. Its such a cute size of a card and so fun to create with. For this card, I started by stenciling ink onto the card base with a blender brush. Next, using the Thin Frame die and poblano cardstock, a few of the rectangle diecuts were adhered to the card base using glue. The sentiment was stamped in Oreo ink onto the card base. Then the images were stamped onto sugar cube cardstock, colored in with copic markers, cut out and adhered to the card base using foam adhesive. To finish, little black gems were adhered.  Look at those cute little fruit stamps?! Gah, so cute!! Is there anything cuter than mythical creatures, especially in stamp form? I say no, no there is not. The Little Critters stamp set, now has a coordinating die set! Whi...

Mini Slim Release

Here we are, the very last Tuesday of January of 2021. Anyone else feel like this month went by extremely fast or just me? I do have to admit that parts of January did feel never-ending due to the fact that I was extremely ill with Covid-19. Luckily I was working a few weeks ahead, and was able to have the majority of these cards finished before I ever got sick. I will blog about my sickness another time, but in short it was beyond horrible. Now on to the Mini Slim Release that will be sure to set your crafty soul on fire. The mini slim line card base was already done so, I started by ink blending hearts onto the cardfront. Next I diecut white cardstock using the Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate (whew say that 3 times fast lol) and ink blended clouds onto the panel using a stencil. Before adhering the panel to the card front using foam adhesive, the sentiment was stamped in black ink, and the "hi" was added. The critters were stamped, colored in, cut out and adhered to...

Costume Party

Image
The cutest Halloween stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn called Costume Party, will be available next week.  I had so much fun coloring in these images.  For more inspiration using this set, head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog for the August Inspiration. I started by blending a yellow and orange ink onto the card base using a foam blending tool.  Next I adhered a strip of black card stock & stamped my sentiment in black ink.  The images were stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink, and colored in with copic markers.  I wanted them to look like they were holding hands, so I cut them out using scissors instead of die cutting them.  For added dimension the images were adhered to the card using foam adhesive. Tiny Tags

Image
Hello Friends! Lately I have only wanted to make treat boxes, pillow boxes or altered bags.  Maybe its because the holidays are quick approaching or because you don't have to follow the same design rules at you would if you were making a card. I have a few pillow boxes that I made, using the Tiny Tags Sayings stamp set as well as the Tiny Tag dies.  The two kraft boxes were stamped completely to create a custom pattern paper, and then on the red pillow box, I stamped little hearts inside the plaid boxes.  The heart and star tags were distressed with ink, before stamping the sentiment. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog , to win these products, as well as seeing more wonderful projects!
