Happy Fall

Image
Outside In Stitched Pumpkins plus Fall Fling kind of equals magic. This paper collection inspires me to make pretty things! I used both of the new pumpkin dies from Lawn Fawn to create this dimensional pumpkin as well as the leaf dies that are included. To get the depth in the leaves, each leaf is adhered using foam adhesive.  This might be my favorite card that I have made from this release. It flows nicely, and the colors are just so beautiful. Here is another card using the pumpkin dies in a different way! Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog to check out all of the wonderful projects being shown today. As well as getting a chance to win new product!

Fall Build a House

Image
I am so excited to share this card today using the Build A House die from Lawn Fawn . I am sharing the house, how the house comes (minus a few extras) but there is also a Halloween add on die kit and Christmas add on die kit.  This is a super versatile die, and it can pair with just about any Lawn Fawn stamp set! I created a simple card, that would be perfect to send to someone who just bought a new house, moved, is adding to their family etc! Pair this die with the add ons and you can go next level with Halloween and Christmas cards. If you like to build scenes this would be great to have as a staple! Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , to see how all of the designers used this die in fun and different ways!

Thankful For You

Hello Friends! I hope you all have had a wonderful summer so far! Today I am sharing a fun new die from Lawn Fawn called Flippin Awesome. It is the easiest interactive die that I have ever used! Some of those dies, make you feel like you need to me a mathematician who went back to school to be a magician. They are hard lol. Anyhow, this new die, paired with the Fall Fling pattern paper, has me wishing for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and I don't even really like fall! (not a fan of things dying lol) I live in Florida, I can't help it for loving perpetual summer weather, its not my fault hahaha.  But back to this die, and these papers. They are absolute magic together. The Fall Fling paper might be my favorite new product of this fall/winter release. Its that amazing.  I hope you all are following along with the August Inspiration Week on the Lawn Fawn Blog . I might be biased, but the designers are sooo good! Make sure you leave a comment on the LF blog if you ...

Happy Halloween

Y'all! The Fall and Winter release for Lawn Fawn is here! Brand spanking new, never been seen before...stamps, dies, paper, ink, new tools...so much goodness!! Go follow along this week over on the Lawn Fawn Blog . Today I am sharing a card using a new stamp set called Spooky Village. It has fun houses, and elements to make a halloween scene. I think my favorite part of this set are the bold sentiments. I applied ink to the white woodgrain cardstock, then stamped the houses in black ink and colored them in with copic markers. The sentiment was made with clear ink and white embossing powder, and heat set onto black cardstock.

Spirit of Christmas

Hello friends!  How is it the end of July already? Is it just me or has this year sped by at a rapid rate? In one month I drop my youngest off at his University and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. To ease my mommas soul, I have been creating a lot the last few weeks. Thank goodness for craft supplies!! Which bring me to todays project. Did you know Technique Tuesday is having a sale on their Christmas and Winter holiday themes stamps and dies? 25% off!! Shop the Christmas Sale collection here ! Tags are my jam. They make me insanely happy to make. Partly because I can add beautiful ribbons on them, that I cannot put onto a card or scrapbook page. The stamps that I used on this tag are from the Spirit of December , I love that there are so many sentiments and images to create a Christmas or winter scene. The dies are from the Postage Card Crafting & Jam Jar Labels crafting sets, but they are also in a Holiday bundle called Documenting December ....

Thank You

Hello friends! I hope you all are enjoying your summer so far! My youngest child graduated High School and we had family out from California and Nevada. Also, my husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary, this past month as well. We had eloped in Charleston, SC so is was only fitting that we went back to celebrate with our family. Lately I have been a little lazy, but after the last 6 months, it has taken a toll on my mental health, so a few lazy days are in order. The stress of my husbands surgery, my son graduating, my daughter moving out...it has been a lot.  I am glad that our family is on the other side of it, and we are welcoming new chapters for all of us. Now on to my card! Technique Tuesday is releasing a new floral stamp set called Hello Hollyhocks, its a smaller stamp set, but you can do so much with it! I stamped the image twice in black ink, colored in the flower with copic markers, and then cut one of the flowers out. The sentiment and Butterf...

Cupcake Birthdays

Have you been following along with the Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week? The Fawnies, are making incredible projects, everyday someone has made my jaw drop from their cleverness. Today I have a card using the new Stitched Cupcake die set. I wanted something bright and bold, but that was clean looking.  I diecut the different pieces in pinks, aquas and oranges so I would have a selection of colors that I could mix with each other. Some of the pieces needed to be glued together, so while the glue was drying, I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment in black ink. I adhered all of the diecut pieces to the above the sentiment using foam adhesive. Except for the hearts, those were glued on. To finish, I doubled up twine, and tied a loose fun bow. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog for more beautiful projects to inspire you to create!
