Just a fun watercolored card today, using the Treat Yourself stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn.  This is a small mini set, which means its super affordable, not to mention cute.  Make sure you head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog , for a chance to win this set also to see more great projects using these products. I had an idea in my mind to watercolor part of the card front, as well as the images.  I love rainbow sherbet especially in the summertime, so I used that as a jump off for my color palette.  The card base is a nice watercolor paper.  To start I dipped a brush in water and got the bottom right of the card front a little wet, so the paint would spread easier.  When I watercolor i do lots of layers, and let the layers dry in between coats.  Once I was happy, i stamped the sentiment in a black pigment ink, then heat set the ink.  When watercoloring and stamping together, you need to use a permanent pigment ink not a water based ink. ...

Instructions: 1. Cut/score cardstock. 2. Emboss stitched oval onto the card front. 3. Stamp sentiment in black ink. 4. Stamp gumball machine, color in, then diecut. 5. Adhere diecut to the card front. 6. Apply glossy accents over the top of the gumball glass to make it appear that its glass. 7. Adhere buttons to the card. 8. Add washi tape to the bottom of the card to help ground the card and give it a little balance.

Today I am sharing a card using the new stamp set and coordinating dies from the Owen's ABC's set. This is a fun alphabet set, and a little different because each letter in incased in a circle.  So when you stamp a letter, the circle is the circle, leaving the letter blank. I wanted to make a card that could be sent to a man or a woman, and this color palette from the Pint Sized Patterns Beachside was just perfect.

Today, I am sharing a few stand alone dies that are brand new to Lawn Fawn.  Stand alone dies, are just dies that can go with any project and do not have a coordinating stamp set to match.  For my project today, I am combining the Puffy Cloud Borders and Rainbow, as well as the hello die. No doubt about it.  These dies to me scream happy!  These would be fantastic to help create fun scenes, especially with the critters.  But for todays card, I created this with just dies (and no stamps can you believe it!).  I can totally see myself using these dies on scrapbook pages as well!  The stitching on the clouds, totally hooked me in, it adds a really nice dimension to the cardstock. Today I am sharing a card using the Lawn Fawn stamp set called Happy Wedding with coordinating dies.  I have said this before, but gosh I love having coordinating dies with a stamp set.  It really just adds that extra professional look to a project. I started off with a pale aqua blue cardstock, to use as my card base.  Using a new Lawn Fawn ink, i stamped several images from the Happy Wedding stamp set, to create a custom background.  Then, using the stitched oval dies from Lawn Fawn, I diecut two ovals using coral and white cardstock colors.  I stamped the sentiment and images, colored in the love birds with copic markers then adhered the ovals to the card using foam squares.  The card seemed like it needed something, and ribbon was just too overpowering, so I tied a bow using Lawn Fawn trimmings an adhered ...

Today, I am sharing a super cute project using the newest die, Milk Carton.  When you cut paper out twice using this die, and adhere the pieces together, you get this adorable milk carton.  Is this not such a perfect party favor?!  You can put candies, chocolates, almonds, cashews...anything that will fit really! I nstructions: 1. Diecut pattern paper using the Milk Carton die.  You will need 2 pieces. 2. Adhere the diecuts together. 3. Adhere red pattern paper to the top and bottom of the milk carton 4.
