Lawn Fawn: Flutter By

Image
Hello there! A long while back, Lawn Fawn released a stamp set called Flutter By.  Well, that stamp set finally has dies that coordinate with the stamps!  I am so very happy about this!!  I just love butterflies, they will never go out of style/trend for me, ever. If you head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog , a few older stamp sets are getting coordinating dies, as well as a few new dies are being shown!!  So go check it out, because I hear there are a few giveaways as well. Some stampers, like to stamp & die cut their images first.  But I stamp my image, color it in, and then die cut last.  It is just easier for me that way, and I want to make sure, especially if I am using Copic markers, that I didn't get ink outside the lines. Little Chapel Ornament

Hello there!! Today along with Julia & Teresa , we each made a project using the new Chapel die from the AGL line from Spellbinders.  This die set creates these super cute little churches, but if you wanted it to be a house you could just omit adding the steeple. Please go visit Julia & Teresa's blogs as well, to see how they used this die set!! So here is what my finished project looks like.  I made an ornament for my Christmas tree.  So fun!! I die cut some Oh Deer! pattern paper from Fancy Pants Designs.  Then I used some of the metallic wax from Deco Arts, to add a little bit of a patina/aged look.  This was is super easy to use, you just wipe it on with a rag or a paper towel, and it dries fast as well. To me, it seemed easier to add the wax on before it was completely assembled, than after. You want to use a strong adhesive to adhere it all together. To finish it off, I add glitter, tons and tons of glitter.   ...
