Today, I am showing you a sneak peak, of a new set called Just My Type from LawnFawn. One of my favorite images from this set is this cute typewriter. There are fun little sentiments included, that you can stamp inside of it. How cool is that!! I colored the image in using Copic markers. So, a few days ago, I walked into my local Scrapbook store and the owner informs a few of us that a box just came from Basic Grey.  Yes people, it had the Basics line, Cappella and Max & Whiskars.  Of course I "had" to have them all, so I picked up some 6x6 pads, stickers and a few other odds and ends.  My favorite color from the three Basics lines, probably is the Manila, I thought it would be the kraft, but the kraft is a little too brown.  Oh well, I still like it alot. Today, I am showing a card using the Impressabilities by Spellbinders .  What I love about these, is that you are able to emboss or deboss pretty much anything that you can fit through your wizard.  On my card, I used the Fleur De Lis Stripe Impressabilities .  Then I took a sponge dauber and a pink shade of ink, and rubbed it over the top of the card stock to expose the imprint a little deeper.  I hear GinaK has done a video on using the Impressabilities, Gina's videos are always so informative, so check it out here .      here is a closer look Supplies: Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Stripe Impressabilities American Crafts Dear Lizzy trim American Crafts sticker Tim Holtz Distress ink Sponge dauber

Have you seen this weeks sketch by Laura, over at 2sketches4you ?!  I love it!  With a child at home with a cold, this sketch really gave me the mojo to get a card done.  I also need to send out a stack of thank you cards, to some amazing people. A sketch + fabby products = fun card.  It has been warm for a few weeks now, so spring is really here, where I live.  With the flowers in bloom, the blue sky, and green grass, I wanted to make a bright cheery card, with fun colors.  The Vintage Blue line of paper from WeR Memory Keepers, is just that, fun!  The patterns and colors make me happy, not to mention the paper is a little thicker and has some tooth to it, so that is always a plus.  The butterfly is from the Basic Grey, Green at Heart line.  I seriously love the felties/woolies I am seeing lately, they are so flippin cute.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co. stamped in a black ink from Colorbox.  I created the border using the S...

Hello!!! Sorry I didn't have any posts for a few days, however I was in Arizona, at the Spellbinders 2010 Design Team retreat.  I learned so much, I hope my brain will retain it all.  The designers not only are talented, but so fun and nice as well.  I just love it when your expectations of someone/something are far better than you could of guessed.  We laughed, ate, and had so much fun while learning.  Exhaustion is starting to set in, but it was well worth it.  Oh my goodness, don't even get me started on the product.  I had two suit cases full of product, and two boxes of stuff that I couldn't fit that are being sent to me.  I feel like it was Christmas.  Spellbinders really knows how to spoil their designers, it was like being at the Oprah show, but all of the gifts were craft related :) I will try and get photos up soon. Here is a card that I made for my January Dirty Dozen gallery. I wanted to make a fun shaped card. So I used some Spellbinders dies, to help achieve that. The stamps are from Our Craft Lounge. I colored in the image using Copic markers...gosh I love those things. I love bike images. Maybe its because I love my pink beach cruiser with basket. It is so girly, pink and me...love love love it.
