Cold products that I love!

Hello there bloggers.
I am still sick!
Talk about the worst timing ever.  My to do list is growing by the minute, and to be honest I am starting to freak my beans a little because I don't think everything is going to get done.  I am weak, and really unable to do anything.  Driving my children to and from school is about all I can handle right now.  So far this week for dinner we have had take out from, Panera, Five Guys, Mc Donalds & Chik fil a.  Tonight they had the ever so fabulous Easy Mac.  My body is exhausted and so I have just been camped out on the couch.  The hubby is gone right now, so getting the house ready for visitors is my job, hopefully by Friday I can start to tackle it all.
Anyhow, for any of you who have a cold right now, here are a few products that I suggest.
They seem to be helping, and make my day a little more bearable.

This box says Mucinex DM.
However,
I am taking Mucinex D, and is in a red box, but you have to get it from behind the counter and sign for it.  It retails for around $27, and comes with 24 tablets (each work for 12 hours).  Mucinex D, is an expectorant & for nasal decongestant.
It can dry you out, so make sure to drink a lot of liquid.
It relieves that pressure behind your nose & eyes, and lets you breathe without being a mouth breather.
Isn't that the worst?  Heavy mouth breathers kind of freak me out, I am not even going to try and lie about that one lol.
Next is Desym Cough syrup.
Which you can take with the Mucinex D.
At the beginning of this cold, my throat hurt so bad, especially when I was coughing.  So this gave me much needed cough relief (purple bottle).  Then at night I took the night time multi-symptom syrup.  It helps with cough, fever & body aches, nasal congestion and a sore throat, plus since it is night time formula, it has that little extra kick which helps you fall asleep faster.
The daytime bottle is around $8.99 & the night time formula is around $12.99.

With a few bags of Ricola cough drops (around $1.60 each) everything came to around $50, but let me tell you.  These products are worth every penny!  My husband actually was sick before he passed it onto me, so I purchased all of these twice.  He actually was able to go to work everyday taking them.

I am not affiliated what so ever with these companies.
I just wanted to share my experience this week taking these.  My days would be unbearable without them.
I hope you all are staying healthy!
I hope to have something new on my blog as soon as I feel a little better.
xoxo

I am so sorry you are sick..sure is the pits. I am overdue for my yearly sinus infection, bronchitis...usually hits around November. Keeping my fingers crossed that is waits till after Christmas because I don't have a damn thing done. If it hits I will pick up these products. Hope you are feeling better soon:)

Year round allergies and sinus issues to go with them make me completely sympathetic! I hope you feel better soon!

Soooo sorry to hear that your sick!! Especially, with the holidays, projects, family and all the other stuff us women do!!

I too have been sick since Friday, and now all I do is cough horrifically! I'm with you....this is the WORST time to get sick.
I haven't had a cold or the flu for at least 5 years. If I have even an inkling that I might be coming down with something, I start drinking gallons of water. Now having said this, I probably get sick. Hope you better by now.
Continued prayers! I've narrowly escaped SURGERY so know what trying to take it EASY is like when the to-do list keeps growing! You-WE-are doing what's best in taking care of us-the rest that needs to be done will fall into place-so much that doesn't (honestly...!) that we worry about...take care!

I'm so sorry you've been so sick. You poor thing. I know how I am when I'm getting the house ready for company, so I can just imagine how being sick is adding to your stress. I hope you're all better since you posted this on Wednesday. Hugs!
