friend

One of my best friends is going through a tough time right now, she recently lost her Dad.  I knew I wanted to make her a card, that always seems to put a smile on a person's face, to get pretty snail mail.  So today's color challenge ( cc181 black, kraft & rose red) work really really well together, so it just seemed to work.
I place a Unity order last week, then a few days ago I decided to get their kit of the month, so that came today.  The kit of the month not the first order, so maybe I will get that soon too >"<  Did anyone else get the stamp set for a $1 and a stamp for a penny?  It was a really good deal!  The background stamp isn't this big in real life, but I used my Stamp-a-majig for the very first time, and its the coolest thing ever!  Why did I wait so long?  Anyhow, I like how the card turned out it will go in the mail later & I hope it brings a smile on her face even for a moment.
