Mojo sketch #11

I decided to work on a Monday mojo challenge actually on a Monday, rather than waiting until the end of the week. This was a crazy weekend so I didn't to sit down and create until today. Friday was my son Jacob's birthday, he turned 7! So I was at school with him all day, I brought pizza and cupcakes for his class. Saturday we went to the Blue Angel's homecoming show, its their last show of the season, it has become a tradition for us to go since living in Florida. Oh and Friday night we went to dinner with friends and then went over to their house afterwords. So back to Saturday, when we got home we relaxed for a little while. Then my neighbor had a pj and dessert get together. I made cresent rolls with nuetella and sliced bananas...they were YUMMY!! Sunday I relaxed for a while because I was exhausted, but I finally pulled myself off the couch and went to Joann's to pick up a few things. Then today, Monday, my son Jacob was in a Veterans Day Parade with his Boy Scout Den. My daughters troop also was in the parade, however I was not feeling very well at the time so we stayed home.

OK back to the card I see that I am rambling. I'm not sure I like it...maybe it will grow on me? I just feel it might be missing something or I need to change a few things...Oh Well! I will try again tomorrow. At Joann's I picked up The Once Upon a Time mat stack by DCWV...its so YUMMY, I love it!! So that is what I used in this card.
Materials Used:
chocolate chip & river rock cardstock, once upon a time designer paper by dcwv, purely pomegranate & chocolate chip ink, Baroque Motifs stamp set, purely pomegranate satin ribbon
